I knew this Chicken Bacon Ranch Tater Tot Casserole would put a smile on everyone’s face 🙂
The amazing trio of chicken, bacon, and ranch go together like The Three Amigos!
We love anything with chicken, bacon, and ranch around here.
I love cooking with my kids (on most days 😉 ) so I was thrilled when my eight year old asked to help.
He basically made the whole meal.
So if he can do it , anyone can.
Here is how we made Chicken Bacon Ranch Tater Tot Casserole
The first step is adding sour cream to a bowl.
Then a packet of dry ranch seasoning.
Half cup of ranch dressing, which he measured himself.
Give that a little stir and then add some CHEESE!
You can tell this kid loves his cheese 🙂
Two cups of cooked diced or shredded chicken and eight slices of cooked bacon get mixed in as well.
I made both the chicken and bacon in the air fryer earlier so they were all ready.
You could also make a big batch of Simple Shredded Chicken for Meal Prep.
The final step is adding a 28 ounce bag of frozen tater tots.
Carefully fold them in and put this into a 9×13 casserole dish.
Since the tater tots are frozen it may not be even, but that’s perfectly fine.
Bake this Chicken Bacon Ranch Tater Tot Casserole in a 400 degree oven for 40 to 45 minutes.
It really just depends on how crispy you want the top to be.
I felt like this was a complete all in one meal, so I did not prepare any side dishes.
I mean potato tots count as a veggie, right?!
Leftovers for lunch the next day were just as good too!
Serve drizzled with more ranch dressing and green onions and enjoy all the cheesy yumminess!
