Gotta love those quick and easy dinners that the whole family loves, am I right?! These Italian Sub Roll Ups fit this description, plus they are absolutely delicious!
They are so easy to make that my eight year old helped me make them, and we had fun doing it.
He even impressed me and tried his with the pepperoncini peppers!
How to make Italian Sub Roll Ups
Just about everything you need is pictured below…crescent rolls, salami, ham, pepperoni, string cheese, and pepperoncini peppers.
Lay the crescent roll triangles flat, add each ingredients, and roll them up.
If someone in your house doesn’t like a certain ingredient, simply leave it out on a few.
My son is not a huge fan of ham so he just doubled up on his salami and left out the ham.
Easy fix 🙂
The next step is brushing some garlic butter with Italian seasoning over top.
They bake in a 375 degree oven for about 12 to 15 minutes.
A mouthwatering garlic-y aroma fills the kitchen as they cook…YUM!
I always like to line the baking sheet with parchment paper for easy clean up.
Work smarter, not harder 😉
Italian Sub Roll Ups have all the yumminess of an Italian sub sandwich, but with the added bonus of the buttery, flaky crescent rolls.
The only thing that’s left to do is dig in and enjoy with some pizza sauce on the side for dipping!
We enjoyed these with a Caesar salad on the side, made it a little simpler by using one of those store bought salad kits.
It went really well with the roll ups.
As I mentioned, this was our dinner for the evening.
But these would be pretty awesome if you doubled the recipe and served them as a party appetizer.
