Cheesy Bacon Waffle Dippers
Cheesy bacon waffle dippers are a unique snack, appetizer, or they could even be a fun dinner idea for the kids!
They are super simple because we are using store bought waffle mix.
And we’ll make the waffle batter a little savory by adding Italian seasoning, garlic powder, kosher salt, pepper, and green onions.
I also added just a bit more water so the batter is a little on the thin side.
Once this is all ooey gooey and melted together in your waffle maker, dip in ranch dressing for an extra tasty treat!
How to make cheesy bacon waffle dippers
First cook the bacon in either the air fryer or skillet.
Then cut each one in half and set aside.
Make about 2 1/2 cups of waffle batter according to the waffle mix directions on the package.
And stir in kosher salt, pepper, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and sliced green onions.
Preheat your waffle maker and once hot, spray with cooking oil.
Then add some of the savory waffle batter, a slice of cheese, and two half slices of bacon (or more if you prefer).
A little more batter over top, a spray of cooking oil on the top of the waffle maker, and then you can close the lid.
The waffles should take around 3 to 5 minutes, just rely on the light on your waffle maker to tell you when they are ready.
Golden brown and delicious on the outside while ooey gooey cheesy and bacon-y on the inside!
Serve cheesy bacon waffle dippers with ranch dressing for dipping!
Pizza sauce would be another great dipping option 🙂
