Cheesy Chicken Ranch Roll Ups
Today I have a crowd pleasing appetizer recipe for cheesy chicken ranch roll ups!
Because it has very familiar and popular ingredients, this one is sure to be both kid and adult friendly.
I mean, who doesn’t love something cheesy all wrapped up in a crescent roll, am I right?!
How to make cheesy chicken ranch roll ups
You’ll need some already cooked and shredded chicken, I used a rotisserie chicken from the store.
Or you could make your own meal prep shredded chicken and use the leftovers in salads, wraps, or casseroles.
For the filling, put 8 ounces of cream cheese at room temperature into a bowl.
It will make the filling SOOO much easier to mix with it being at room temp.
Then add a cup of the shredded chicken, a cup of shredded cheese, and a packet of dry ranch seasoning.
Mix this together, it will take a few minutes.
I find it best to use the back of a metal spoon.
Then add 1/4 cup of sliced green onions and mix those in as well.
Once the filling is good to go, unwrap two tubes of crescent rolls and separate the dough into triangles.
Place some of the filling in the center of each piece of dough.
Then roll them up and place on a baking sheet.
Melt 2 tablespoons of butter and mix in some dried parsley or Italian seasoning.
And brush the butter over the roll ups.
Bake the roll ups in a 375 degree oven for 12 to 15 minutes.
Cheesy chicken ranch roll ups are such a simple appetizer but they also bring that yummy wow factor!
These would be perfect for any holiday, celebration, or game day snack.
Or you could even have them as part of a fun snacky snack weekend dinner.
