
Air Fryer BBQ Chicken Thighs
Air Fryer BBQ Chicken Thighs may be a cheap and easy recipe, but my family raved over how tasty it was,
This is such an easy two ingredient recipe I am sharing with you today, friends.
I say two ingredients because I don’t count olive oil, kosher salt, and pepper…those are freebies 😉
And the only other things you need are chicken thighs and BBQ seasoning.
It really doesn’t get any easier 🙂
How to Make Air Fryer BBQ Chicken Thighs
Start by brushing 4 chicken thighs with olive oil.
You can trim some of the extra skin if you prefer.

Turn them over and brush the bottom side with olive oil as well.
Then season with your favorite BBQ seasoning, kosher salt, and pepper.

I like to press the seasoning into the chicken slightly to make sure it sticks.
Once the bottom side is well seasoned, flip them over again.

Season the top just like you did the bottom…and the next stop is the air fryer.

Place the chicken skin side up into the air fryer basket.
And set it to 390 degrees for 18 to 22 minutes.
The cook time will depend on the size of the thighs.

They came out crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside!
I think I may have trimmed too much skin because it kind of shrunk up a bit. But was still so yummy!

We dipped ours in BBQ sauce and enjoyed them with a side of mac and cheese.

I feel like BBQ and mac and cheese just go perfectly together.

Air Fryer BBQ Chicken Thighs
Air Fryer BBQ Chicken Thighs is such an easy dinner to make, very kid friendly and the skin gets super crispy thanks to the air fryer
Ingredients
- 4 chicken thighs
- 1 Tbsp olive oil
- 2 Tbsps BBQ seasoning
- kosher salt, pepper
- Optional: BBQ sauce
Instructions

Brush the olive oil on all sides of the chicken thighs and season all sides of the chicken with BBQ seasoning, kosher salt, and pepper.

Put the chicken thighs, skin side up, in the air fryer and set the temp to 390 degrees for 16 to 18 minutes. The internal temp should be 170 degrees.

Serve with BBQ sauce if desired.
