Air Fryer Steak and Mushrooms
Air Fryer Steak and Mushrooms is my latest complete meal recipe all done in the air fryer.
In the summer I used my air fryer often in an attempt to leave my oven off in the hot weather.
Now I’m kind of addicted to using it though because it’s SO simple and easy to use.
No need to wait for the oven to preheat, just throw everything in the basket, set it, and forget it.
So about five minutes of prep, ten minutes in the air fryer, and you have a complete meal ready to serve.
And, ummm, it’s steak…so that makes it extra exciting!
I bought a flat iron steak, but New York strip, sirloin, or ribeye would work too.
Cut the steak into inch size cubes and place them in a bowl.
Then cut some baby portobello mushrooms in half and throw them in the bowl with the steak.
The bigger mushrooms I did cut into thirds.
As long as they are around the same size, you’re good 🙂
Toss the steak and mushrooms with some olive oil, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, kosher salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
Next place in the air fryer basket.
It’s perfectly fine if there’s some overlap.
And if you have a smaller air fryer, just cook them in two batches.
Set the air fryer to 390 degrees for ten minutes, and shake the basket halfway through.
The ten minutes will give you a perfect medium doneness, adjust cook times according to how you like your steak cooked.
.
Air Fryer Steak and Mushrooms are best if served right away.
This was a complete meal for us, but you could always add a side salad or serve with mashed potatoes for a heartier meal.
