Ingredients
  • 2 1/2 cups prepared waffle batter (I used an instant mix that I thinned out with just a little extra water)
  • 1/2 cup sliced green onions
  • kosher salt, pepper, garlic powder, Italian seasoning
  • 10 slices cheddar or Colby Jack cheese
  • 10 slices cooked bacon cut in half
  • cooking oil spray
  • ranch dressing for dipping
Instructions
  1. Stir the green onions, kosher salt, pepper, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning into the waffle batter.

  2. Preheat the waffle maker. Once ready add some cooking oil spray, some waffle batter, a slice of cheese, 2 half slices of bacon, and top with more waffle batter. Spray cooking oil on the top of the waffle maker and close the lid.

  3. The waffles should take about 3 to 5 minutes, or until the light on the waffle maker indicates that the waffles are ready.

  4. Remove the waffles and repeat making the remaining waffles. Serve the waffles with ranch dressing for dipping.
