Slow Cooker Chicken Teriyaki Sliders

Slow Cooker Chicken Teriyaki Sliders

Slow Cooker Chicken Teriyaki Sliders were this week’s easy and delicious Crock Pot recipe and got a 5 star review from us all.

Now that school’s out, I have invited my parents over every Monday afternoon for great food and to enjoy each other’s company.

I even gave the name of “Munchie Mondays”… if you know this this probably doesn’t surprise you 😉

Last week we had BBQ Pork and Waffles with Bourbon Syrup…that was amazing!

So I was nervous that this week wouldn’t live up to that, but it totally did.

This week was a bonus because my oldest daughter was able to join us!

How to Make Slow Cooker Chicken Teriyaki Sliders

Put two pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts in the slow cooker.

Then pour a 14 ounce bottle of teriyaki sauce over top.

Next drain the liquid from a can of pineapple tidbits and add the pineapple.

A Tbsps each of garlic paste, ginger paste, soy sauce, and sriracha.

If you want to leave these out this dish still turns out amazing, however they do add an extra something special.

Stir it slightly and set the slow cooker to low for 6 to 8 hours.

This is what you’ll see once it’s ready.

All that’s left to do is shred it for the sliders.

I do this with two forks right in the slow cooker.

Very simple and less mess.

You can keep the slow cooker on low or the “keep warm” setting until ready to serve these sliders.

Pile some chicken on a slider bun and then add half a slice of swiss cheese.

If you want the cheese melty, warm for a few seconds in the microwave.

Then top with some plain slaw or shredded lettuce.

The contrast with the warm chicken and cheese with the crunchy slaw is a must!

Ok, now I bring you a completely “behind the scenes” shot LOL!

Remember how I told you my parents and daughter were here for this meal.

Well…everyone knows I have to take my pictures before you eat the food.

As I was starting to take pics of these sliders they all leaned in for this hilarious pic of what it’s truly like at my house, and I love it 🙂
