Air Fryer Bacon Stuffed Donuts

I had to attempt Air Fryer Bacon Stuffed Donuts for Mother’s Day breakfast.
I’m one of those people who wholeheartedly believe that bacon should be its own food group.
Bacon just makes everything better and does a soul good 🙂
Oh boy…these two breakfast favorites combined into one was quite fabulous!
I made Air Fryer Glazed Donuts a few weeks ago using biscuits.
It worked out beautifully so I am starting with a roll of biscuits and some cooked and crumbled bacon.

How to make Air Fryer Bacon Stuffed Donuts
First, separate the biscuits and lay on a flat surface (like a cutting board).
Then roll each biscuit slightly and place some of the bacon right in the center.
If you don’t have a rolling pin you can use a cup or glass turned sideways to roll them.

Fold the biscuit around the bacon and roll it into a ball with your hands.
Now they are ready for the air fryer. Set it to 370 degrees for 7 to 8 minutes.

They puff up and turn a gorgeous golden brown!

Finally, brush them with maple syrup and give them a sprinkle of powdered sugar.

THIS, my friends is what pure comfort food looks like 🙂
These Air Fryer Bacon Stuffed Donuts are best served right away and also with more maple syrup for dipping.
