Air Fryer Maple Sriracha Bacon
Usually I make this recipe in the oven, but this time around we went with Air Fryer Maple Sriracha Bacon.
Candied bacon should really be eaten more often in my opinion.
And with how easy it is to make in the air fryer, I see LOTS more of it in our future 🙂
A little sweet from the maple, a little spice from the Sriracha made the perfect combo with the salty, smoky bacon!
How to make Air Fryer Maple Sriracha Bacon
Thick cut bacon slices cut in half will first go into the air fryer basket.
A little trick I picked up when making this is putting a few Tbsps of water in the bottom of the air fryer.
This will prevent smoking from the dripping bacon and sauce.

Then brush a mixture of pure maple syrup and Sriracha over top.
And set the air fryer to 380 degrees for 6 minutes.
Flip them over with a fork, brush with more maple Sriracha sauce, and set the air fryer to 380 for 8 more minutes.
Thinner bacon may require less time, super thick bacon may require another minute. It’s best to start checking toward the end to see.
Although I will say when recipe testing this I overcooked a batch, but it actually tasted amazing even though it looked burnt.

Yeah, yeah…it does make a mess in the air fryer but I pinky promise it was easy to clean.
Carefully remove the bacon and let it cool before serving.
Repeat with more bacon if desired.

Once it’s at room temperature it will harden slightly.
Then you can dig into your Air Fryer Maple Sriracha Bacon and enjoy!

Air Fryer Maple Sriracha Bacon
Air Fryer Maple Sriracha Bacon is a sweet and spicy candied bacon that is made super simple in the air fryer and is absolutely addicting!
Ingredients
- 3 Tbsps pure maple syrup
- 2 Tbsps Sriracha
- 6 slices thick cut bacon cut in half
Instructions
-
Mix together the pure maple syrup and Sriracha
-
Add 2 Tbsps water to the bottom of the air fryer (this will prevent smoke from the bacon drippings) and place half of the bacon in the air fryer basket. Brush with the Sriracha maple mixture. Set the air fryer to 380 degrees for 6 minutes.
-
Flip the bacon over with a fork, brush more of the Sriracha maple mixture. Set the air fryer to 380 for 8 more minutes. Repeat with the other half of the bacon.
