Air Fryer Bacon Wrapped Turkey

Air Fryer Bacon Wrapped Turkey

Today I thought I’d balance things out with a quick and easy, THREE ingredient Air Fryer Bacon Wrapped Turkey recipe 🙂

Yes, you read that correctly, only three ingredients, friends!

Yesterday’s recipe was a very involved Korean Chicken and Waffles with multiple steps and ingredients (all VERY well worth it because YUM)… but I needed a break 😉

Turkey breast tenderloins are an amazing grocery store gem, already seasoned and brined so you really need to do very little to them.

Buuuuuut…it’s always a good idea to add bacon if possible, right?!

I wrote this recipe with using your seasoning of choice.

So you could make this multiple times using different seasonings such as BBQ, Cajun, Old Bay, any of the amazing seasonings from The Savory Spice Shop (highly recommend ALL of them).

Or in my case, I am using one of my favorites, Chupacabra Rub.

three ingredients for the meal

How to Make Air Fryer Bacon Wrapped Turkey

Two boneless, skinless turkey breasts come in a package of the Honeysuckle White brand.

First, remove the breasts from the seasoned brine in the bag and pat them dry slightly.

Then sprinkle both sides with your seasoning of choice.

Then wrap each turkey breast with five slices of bacon, overlapping slightly.

And sprinkle more of your seasoning on the bacon.

Next place them in the air fryer for a total of 32 to 38 minutes, flipping them halfway through.

Flipping them helps the bacon crisp on all sides.

Toward the last few minutes, check the turkey with an instant read thermometer to make sure they are above 165 degrees.

Mine took 36 minutes total to reach that perfect temperature, but cook time will depend on size of the turkey and how well your air fryer regulates temperature.

This is the thermometer I have and LOVE, click below to order from Amazon…

Let Air Fryer Bacon Wrapped Turkey rest for a few minutes before slicing, I know…I know…waiting is difficult 😉

This served our family of four, half of each turkey to a person.

Although I am sure I alone could have eaten and entire breast because…well…you’ll just have to experience for yourself how incredible these are!

I set out knives, but you truly did not need them because of how tender the turkey is thanks to the seasoned brine (which I cannot take credit for).
