Air Fryer Cajun Chicken Thighs are packed full of deliciousness, but only have a few simple ingredients.

Plus it only takes 5 minutes to prepare dinner and rest of the work is done by the air fryer.

All you need to start this chicken dinner is four chicken thighs, olive oil, Cajun seasoning, and garlic paste.

Here I am using my store bought seasoning, but if you want a higher quality spice, I recommend the Cajun Blackening seasoning at Savory Spice!

How to Make Air Fryer Cajun Chicken Thighs

First, rub olive oil and garlic paste all over the chicken thighs.

Then season all sides with Cajun seasoning, kosher salt, and pepper.

Place them skin side up in the air fryer basket.

Then set the air fryer to 390 degrees for 16 to 20 minutes.

Check the thighs with an instant read thermometer to make sure they are at 165 to 170 degrees.

Many factors such as the size of the chicken and the type of air fryer you have can affect cook time.

Ingredients

  • 4 chicken thighs
  • 1 Tbsp olive oil
  • 1 Tbsp garlic paste or minced garlic
  • 2 Tbsps cajun seasoning
  • kosher salt, pepper

Instructions

  1. Rub the olive oil and garlic on all sides of the chicken thighs and season all sides of the chicken with cajun seasoning, kosher salt, and pepper.
