This easy Air Fryer Ritz Chicken recipe was actually a last minute scramble of me realizing I totally forgot to plan dinner last night.
I went to my fridge and pantry and threw this together just in time to feed my hungry crew.
Honestly, for as simple as this seems, it really is BIG on flavor.
The Ritz cracker breading would be the reason I’m sure.
This says A LOT…I didn’t even dip mine in sauce, and everyone who knows me, knows I put sauce on EVERYTHING 😉
How to Make Air Fryer Ritz Chicken
First pulse a sleeve of Ritz crackers in a blender or food processor.
And if you don’t have either one of these, you can put the crackers in a gallon size plastic bag and crush them by hand or hit them with something.
I’ve done this plenty of times to know it works great.
Then mix the crumbs with 1/4 cup parmesan cheese and a teaspoon garlic powder, kosher salt and pepper as well.
Cut a pound of chicken breasts into thin strips, or heck you could even do nuggets.
And crack an egg in a bowl and beat it with a fork.
Then you have yourself a handy dandy breading station with the egg, Ritz crumb mixture, and the chicken set up next to the air fryer.
Dip each piece of chicken into the egg, then into the Ritz crumbs, and into the air fryer.
Spray the tops with nonstick cooking spray to ensure that gorgeous golden brown color and crisp.
Set the air fryer to 400 degrees for 15 minutes and go relax (yeah right, if you’re a busy mom like me you have exactly 15 minutes to clean something 😉 )
Winner, winner chicken dinner…yes these were every bit as delicious as they are beautiful.
Dig in to crispity, crunchity Air Fryer Ritz Chicken with or without sauce…so good either way 🙂
