Air Fryer Glazed Donuts
Air Fryer Glazed Donuts were a super fun way to spend our morning and enjoy a little family time at breakfast.
When I was little I remember my mom making THE best donuts by deep frying biscuits.
It felt like an extra special morning to me making homemade donuts and I vividly remember how warm and fresh they tasted.
Why not give them a try in the air fryer I thought…less oil mean an, ummmm healthier donut?!
Well…let’s just say less oil is always a plus 😉
Jumbo biscuits in a tube is what we used.
Here is how to make Air Fryer Glazed Donuts
The first step is separating the biscuits and laying them flat on a cutting board.
Then use a 1 inch bottle cap to make the donut holes.
Get creative and see what you have laying around your kitchen.
I used the cap to the almond milk carton for ours.
For my size air fryer I made 4 donuts and holes at once.
So, yes, you’ll have to do this in two batches.
But think of it like this…by the time you’re ready for a second donut they will be fresh out of the air fryer!
Set the air fryer to 370 degrees for 5 to 6 minutes.
Check after 5 minutes to see if you want them more golden brown.
If so let them go for another minute.
The glaze is a mixture of powdered sugar and milk.
Once the donuts are out of the air fryer, simply place each in the bowl with the glaze.
And use a spoon to make sure the glaze gets all over.
And now you can enjoy your extra special breakfast of homemade Air Fryer Glazed Donuts 🙂
