Honey Lemon Buffalo Chicken Sandwiches
Honey Lemon Buffalo Chicken Sandwiches can be made on your grill, Blackstone griddle, or inside in a skillet.
This easy dinner idea hits alllll the flavor profiles in my opinion… sweet, savory, spicy, and just the right amount of acidity thanks to the lemon.
How to make Honey Lemon Buffalo Chicken Sandwiches
First season 4 boneless, skinless chicken thighs or thinner cut chicken breasts with kosher salt, pepper, and your favorite seasoning blend.
Then preheat your grill, Blackstone griddle, or large skillet over medium heat.
Add cooking oil of choice for the griddle or skillet options, and the chicken.
The chicken will cook for about 10 minutes, flipping a few times and during the last half add some buffalo sauce.

And hot honey.

Plus a squeeze of lemon over both sides of the chicken.

This could be a meal just by itself!

Add a slice of cheese over each piece of chicken, I went with colby jack.
Also toast the buns cut side down for a minute to warm and toast them.

We added shredded lettuce and pickles to our sandwiches, plus a little more buffalo, hot honey, and lemon.

These Honey Lemon Buffalo Chicken Sandwiches are so delicious, just serve with a few napkins 😉

Honey Lemon Buffalo Chicken Sandwiches
Honey Lemon Buffalo Chicken Sandwiches can be grilled or cooked on your Blackstone griddle, a simple sandwich recipe with lots of flavor!
Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken thighs (or thinner sized chicken breasts)
- kosher salt, pepper, seasoning blend of choice
- cooking oil of choice (for griddle or skillet, not needed for grill)
- buffalo sauce, hot honey, lemon wedges (amount depends on your preference)
- 4 slices cheese of choice (I used colby jack)
- 4 buns (I used brioche buns)
- shredded lettuce, pickles
Instructions

Season both sides of the chicken with kosher salt, pepper, and seasoning blend of choice.

Preheat your Blackstone griddle, grill, or large skillet over medium heat. Add cooking oil of choice for griddle or skillet (not needed for grill) and the chicken.

Cook the chicken for about 10 minutes, flipping a few times. Drizzle some buffalo sauce, hot honey, and squeeze lemon over both sides of chicken during the last half of cooking.

Place the slices of cheese over top to melt. Also add buns, cut side down for a minute to toast them.

Assemble the sandwiches on the buns with the cheesy chicken, more buffalo sauce, hot honey, and/or lemon if desired, shredded lettuce, and pickle. Enjoy with plenty of napkins!
