An added perk to making these burgers is they only take a few minutes to prepare and the air fryer does the rest of the work.
How to make Air Fryer Goat Cheese Balsamic Turkey Burgers
In a bowl combine a pound of ground turkey, goat cheese crumbles, pesto, balsamic vinegar, kosher salt, pepper, and crushed red pepper flakes.
We had some pesto leftover from making Italian Pressed Sandwiches last week.
The perfect way to use the leftover pesto 🙂
Mix with your hands until evenly combined and form into 4 burger patties.
Put the burger patties right into the air fryer basket in a single layer.
Then set the air fryer to 370 degrees for 18 minutes. No need to flip or anything 🙂
I mean, these even look like they have charred grill marks, don’t they?
To serve these Air Fryer Goat Cheese Balsamic Turkey Burger place on your bread or bun of choice and top with hummus.
For ours I got these mini Naan flatbreads and toasted them, cut them in half, and used them as our bun.
And the hummus I used is my all time favorite, roasted red pepper hummus.

Air Fryer Goat Cheese Balsamic Turkey Burgers
Air Fryer Goat Cheese Balsamic Turkey Burgers have the perfect flavor combo of balsamic and goat cheese and cooked to perfection in the air fryer!
Ingredients
- 1 pound ground turkey
- 6 oz crumbled goat cheese
- 2 Tbsps pesto
- 2 Tbsps balsamic vinegar
- kosher salt, pepper, crushed red pepper flakes
- 4 burger buns or toasted Naan bread (I used Stonefire mini Naan bread cut in half for each burger)
- 6 oz hummus (I used red pepper hummus)
- Optional toppings: lettuce, onion, etc.
Instructions

In a bowl add the ground turkey, goat cheese, pesto, balsamic vinegar, kosher salt, pepper, and crushed red pepper flakes. Lightly mix and combine with your hands until evenly mixed, form 4 burger patties and place each in the air fryer basket.
Note: It's normal for the patties to be delicate, so putting right in air fryer is highly suggested so you don't have to move them again.

Set the air fryer to 370 degrees for 18 minutes.

Place each burger patty on a bun or toasted Naan bread. Top each burger with hummus and any additional toppings of your choice.
