Air Fryer Spinach Feta Turkey Burgers

Air Fryer Spinach Feta Turkey Burgers

My family was actually coming up with more recipe ideas and ways to enjoy turkey burgers as we devoured these Air Fryer Spinach Feta Turkey Burgers 🙂

I kinda feel like if I got my family to eat turkey burgers with spinach and completely love them… I truly believe anything is possible!

How to make Air Fryer Spinach Feta Turkey Burgers

This yummy meal starts with a big handle of fresh spinach leaves.

I chopped and chopped and chopped until they were teeny tiny just like this.

finely chopped spinach

The spinach will go into a bowl with a pound of lean ground turkey.

Also some feta cheese crumbles, garlic paste, olive oil, Italian seasoning, kosher salt, and pepper.

Garlic Paste

I chose to add the olive oil because turkey burgers can get dry, the olive oil helps them stay moist and juicy.

When I make any type of burger I use my hands.

This didn’t take long to come together.

I formed them into four equal size burgers, or at least attempted to make them as close to possible the same size.

Before turning on the air fryer I washed my hands really well.

Then set the air fryer to 390 degrees for 20 minutes.

Using an instant read thermometer check to make sure they are at 170 degrees.

Mine needed two more minutes to reach that temp, so a total cook time of 22 minutes.

This will depend on the thickness of the burgers, so yours may only take 20 minutes.

Quite possible the BEST part of these burgers is the bubbly, charred feta cheese that kind of oozes out of the burgers…

Burger toppings are endless, and everyone prefers their own.

I went with a Sriracha mayo (literally Sriracha and mayo mixed together), lettuce, and Sweet Pickled Red Onions on a bakery fresh bun.
