These Air Fryer Chicken Teriyaki Burgers are my newest, simple burger idea.

I absolutely LOVE making burgers in my air fryer.

And putting new twists and flavor combinations has been quite the creative activity for me lately.

I say simple because the burger itself has only three ingredients.

Complicated is overrated, right?!

How to Make Air Fryer Chicken Teriyaki Burgers

We have a pound of ground chicken, chopped green onions, and teriyaki sauce.

Yep…teriyaki sauce that I bought from the store, easy peasy.

Told ya they were simple 😉

Mix with your hands until evenly combined and form them into burger patties.

Chicken and turkey burgers are very delicate, and don’t form together like beef burgers.

That’s one reason I love making them in the air fryer so much.

Once you form the patty just put it right into the air fryer.

No need to move them again or even flip them.

Set the air fryer to 370 degrees for 16 minutes.

And they are perfectly cooked with a nice golden brown top just this!

Top each burger with a slice of provolone cheese and a pineapple ring.

Then back into the air fryer for 2 more minutes.

The cheese gets ooey gooey melty!

Air Fryer Chicken Teriyaki Burgers

Place each burger on a burger bun and you can add any other toppings you like.

We added thinly sliced red onion, lettuce, and more teriyaki sauce!

Air Fryer Chicken Teriyaki Burgers

Air Fryer Chicken Teriyaki Burgers are so easy to make in the air fryer, chicken patties with a teriyaki sauce and topped with cheese and pineapple

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground chicken
  • 1/4 cup teriyaki sauce (plus more to drizzle over top if desired)
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • 4 slices provolone cheese
  • 4 pineapple rings
  • 4 burger buns
  • Optional toppings: onion, lettuce, more teriyaki sauce, mayo. etc.

Instructions

  1. In a bowl add the ground chicken, teriyaki sauce, and chopped green onion. Lightly mix and combine with your hands until evenly mixed, form 4 burger patties and place each in the air fryer basket.

    Note: It's normal for the patties to be delicate, so putting right in air fryer is highly suggested so you don't have to move them again.

  2. Set the air fryer to 370 degrees for 16 minutes. Top each burger with a slice of provolone cheese and a pineapple ring. Set the air fryer to 370 for 2 more minutes or until cheese is melted.

  3. Serve the burgers on the burger buns and with optional toppings such as onion, lettuce, more teriyaki sauce and/or mayo if desired.
