Air Fryer Bang Bang Salmon
I make recipes with this bang bang sauce quite often, so I knew I had to try making Air Fryer Bang Bang Salmon.
Why, you might ask, do I make it and crave it so often?!
Because it’s freaking DELICIOUS!!!
Like seriously just try it for yourself, and you too could be addicted to this sweet and spicy gem of a sauce 😉
How to Make Air Fryer Bang Bang Salmon
Start with a pound of salmon.
I cut mine into 2 larger fillets, but you could cut into smaller pieces if preferred.
This amount did feed my family of four, we just cut them into smaller pieces at dinner.
And the sauce ingredients are mayo, sweet chili sauce, and sriracha.
In a bowl put 1/3 cup mayo, 1/3 cup sweet chili sauce, and 1 to 2 Tablespoons sriracha.
It really depends on how spicy you prefer.
We like a good amount of spice, so lots of sriracha for us 🙂
Whisk until combined and you have yourself a darn tasty, homemade bang bang sauce.
Put about 3/4 of the sauce in a separate bowl for dipping.
And brush some of the remaining sauce on the salmon.
Save just a bit of the sauce to brush the salmon halfway through cooking.
Then just a sprinkle of kosher salt on the salmon.
Place the salmon in the air fryer basket, skin side down.
Then set the air fryer to 400 degrees for 9 to 11 minutes.
Cook time will depend on how thick your salmon is.
Just keep an eye on it during the last few minutes 🙂
Oh, and brush more sauce about halfway through cooking.
I love how the edges get slightly charred!
And the bang bang sauce turns to a gorgeous golden color!

Garnish Air Fryer Bang Bang Salmon with parsley if desired.
And serve this gorgeous salmon with the extra bang bang sauce on the side.
I wrote the recipe for the sauce considering that some people could possibly be sauce freaks like me, so it does make A LOT of the sauce.
You may have extras, or make some rice and mix it all together for a complete meal 🙂
If you do have extra sauce, it is so good as a dip for chicken nuggets or chicken tenders.

We had some fries with our meal and dipping the fries in the sauce was incredible!
