Air Fryer Chicken Avocado Burgers
Air Fryer Chicken Avocado Burgers were my newest burger recipe creation!
And I even made a Cilantro Lime Aioli to go with them 🙂
Burgers are a meal I normally don’t enjoy preparing.
That is…until I got my air fryer! It’s SO easy and has been a game changer for sure.
What makes air fried burgers so much better you may ask?
Burgers always seem to fall apart or shrink up or cook unevenly when I grill them or fry them in a skillet.
When I air fry them it’s SO easy!
And they cook perfectly, stay all in one piece, and they turn out super juicy.
Especially when making chicken or turkey burgers, because they don’t have the fat to hold them together as well.
How to Make Air Fryer Chicken Avocado Burgers
This chicken burger has just a few simple ingredients.
Ground chicken, a diced avocado, garlic, kosher salt, pepper, and crushed red pepper flakes for a little spice.
Mix this together gently with your hands and form into four burger patties.
These chicken burgers will be very soft and may fall part slightly when putting them in the air fryer basket. I lost a few avocado pieces myself.
It’s ok though, just form them again once they are in the basket and stuff back any lost avocado pieces.
The burgers take 18 minutes total in the air fryer set to 370 degrees.
I flipped mine halfway through just like this. It was very easy to flip them 🙂

Instead of burger buns, we served ours on Naan flatbreads cut into fourths, slightly toasted.
I also made a Cilantro Lime Aioli to serve with the Air Fryer Chicken Avocado Burgers and it was extra amazing!
Super easy too…whisk some mayo, garlic, chopped cilantro, and lime juice!
My son at first was less than thrilled about having a chicken burger on Naan bread.
However, once he saw my burger he changed his mind instantly…he ended up eating his and almost half of mine he loved it so much!

Air Fryer Chicken Avocado Burgers
Air Fryer Chicken Avocado Burgers are a healthy burger option, super easy and not to mention insanely delicious, also served with a Cilantro Lime Aioli!
Ingredients
Air Fryer Chicken Avocado Burgers
- 1 pound ground chicken
- 1 avocado diced
- 1 Tbsp garlic paste or fresh minced garlic
- kosher salt, pepper, crushed red pepper flakes
- Optional: buns or Naan bread, toppings such as lettuce, tomato, onions
Cilantro Lime Aioli
- 3/4 cup mayo
- 1/4 cup cilantro minced
- 2 tsps garlic paste or fresh minced garlic
- 1 to 2 tsps lime juice
Instructions
Air Fryer Chicken Avocado Burgers

In a bowl mix together the ground chicken, diced avocado, garlic, kosher salt, pepper. and crushed red pepper flakes lightly with your hands until combined. Form into 4 burger patties.

Place the burger patties in the air fryer basket and set the air fryer to 370 degrees for 18 minutes, flip them halfway through cooking.
Note: When placing the burgers in the air fryer, they will be very soft. You can reform them in the basket if they fall apart and put back any pieces of avocado that may fall out.

Serve the Chicken Avocado Burgers on buns/ Naan bread with the Cilantro Lime Aioli and additional toppings of choice.
Note: I served mine on Naan flatbreads cut into fourths and lightly toasted.
Cilantro Lime Aioli

Whisk the mayo, cilantro, garlic, and lime together in a bowl. Serve with the Chicken Avocado Burgers.
