Crispy Baked Garlic Sriracha Chicken
I had some extra garlic Sriracha seasoning, so thought it would be perfect in this easy recipe for Crispy Baked Garlic Sriracha Chicken.
Yep…you guessed it…perfection once again 🙂
I have made chicken using this method with a few different seasonings, and it turned out at 100% perfection each and every time!
This seasoning made by Weber is easy to find in most grocery stores.
I’ve used it quite a bit and am a big fan.
It’s not super spicy, so I like to add a pinch of ground red pepper to give it a little extra kick.
How to make Crispy Baked Garlic Sriracha Chicken
You’ll first mix 1 1/2 Tbsps of the garlic Sriracha seasoning along with kosher salt, pepper, ground red pepper (if using), and 1 tsp of baking powder.
Yes…baking powder.
Why the baking powder you may ask? It will help dry out the chicken skin creating that super crispy skin that makes this dish amazing.
The next step is drying the chicken thighs on both sides with paper towels.
I also like to use my kitchen scissors to trim any extra skin, leaving just the skin on top.
Then sprinkle the seasoning mixture on all sides of the chicken thighs.
And placing them skin side up on a wire baking rack over a lined baking sheet.
.
Another trick to the crispiest chicken skin is starting them in a 475 degree oven for the first 15 minutes.
Then lower the heat in the oven to 425 for 30 more minutes.
Sprinkle a little more garlic Sriracha seasoning from the container over top.
You seriously will not believe how flavorful this chicken is and how crispy the skin is!
Crispy Baked Garlic Sriracha Chicken is sure to be hit 🙂
My eight year old says every time I make chicken this way (no matter what the seasoning) that it’s his favorite chicken dinner.
