How to make Air Fryer Old Bay Shrimp

Jumbo shrimp that have been peeled, deveined, and pat dry with paper towels will go into a bowl to start this dish.

Then add some olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, and of course…Old Bay seasoning.

One time saving trick that I love is using garlic paste.

Mincing garlic is not so much my favorite, so I save myself some stress and use this paste.

I find it very easily right by the fresh herbs in the produce section of my grocery store.

Give the shrimp a toss until evenly mixed and the next stop is the air fryer.

Old Bay Shrimp

Lay the shrimp in a single layer in the air fryer basket just like this.

Then set the air fryer to 390 for 8 to 10 minutes.

As the shrimp cooked in the air fryer, I made an Old Bay Aioli for a dipping sauce.

Simply whisk together some mayo (or light mayo), garlic, lemon juice, and Old Bay seasoning in a bowl.

It smells absolutely amazing as it cooks with the garlic, lemon, and Old Bay all combined in a delicious aroma!

This Air Fryer Old Bay Shrimp is drool-worthy for sure.

Serve with the Old Bay Aioli on the side for dipping and enjoy 🙂

Other suggestions for using this shrimp include serving them on a salad, with cauliflower rice (with the aioli mixed it), or topping some fettuccine alfredo or pasta of choice.

Ingredients

Air Fryer Old Bay Shrimp

  • 1 pound jumbo shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 1/2 Tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 Tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/2 Tbsp garlic paste or fresh minced garlic
  • 1 Tbsp Old Bay seasoning

Old Bay Aioli

  • 1/2 cup mayo or light mayo
  • 1/2 Tbsp garlic paste or fresh minced garlic
  • 1/2 Tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 to 2 tsps Old Bay seasoning

Instructions

Air Fryer Old Bay Shrimp

  1. Pat the shrimp dry with paper towels and put them in a bowl. Add the olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, and Old Bay seasoning. Toss until evenly mixed.

  2. Place them in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Set the air fryer to 390 for 8 to 10 minutes. Serve with Old Bay Aioli for dipping.

Old Bay Aioli

  1. Whisk ingredients together in a bowl. Start with 1 tsp Old Bay seasoning and add more according to your taste. Serve with the Air Fryer Old Bay Shrimp.
