Bang Bang Chicken Lettuce Wraps
One who is addicted to this deliciously sweet and spicy sauce might choose to make this recipe for Bang Bang Chicken Lettuce Wraps 🙂
I may or may not be slightly obsessed with bang bang sauce at the moment.
If I am though, that’s not such an awful thing to dream about, right?
If you love bang bang sauce as much as me, you’ll want to try these lettuce wraps for sure!
How to Make Bang Bang Chicken Lettuce Wraps
Start with a diced onion in a skillet over medium heat.
Add some garlic and a pound of ground chicken along with kosher salt and pepper.
Cook that for a few more minutes and break it apart as it cooks.
Then make the bang bang sauce with just three simple ingredients.
I used light mayo to cut some calories along with sweet Thai chili sauce and Sriracha.
You’ll want to mix in about 3/4 of the bang bang sauce with the ground chicken.
Save the rest for those of us who like a little more sauce drizzled over top.
Prepare the lettuce wraps by peeling individual pieces of Boston lettuce and placing them on a plate.
In each lettuce wrap add some shredded carrots and red cabbage.
Once the bang bang chicken is close to room temp, fill the lettuce wraps and enjoy!
Bang Bang Chicken Lettuce Wraps are best if eaten right away, but I don’t think they will last very long anyway!
