Salsa Ranch Chicken Tacos take minimal effort, but they are one of the most delicious taco recipes ever!
Yesterday was the last day of school!
I knew it would be a long, exhausting, emotional day so I planned this super simple dinner.
The end of another school year means that Summer Cheri is BAAAACK!
For the next few months my family actually gets to have me all to themselves 🙂
If I can pull this dinner off on the last day of school, it’s pretty much guaranteed that anyone can do it.
How to make Salsa Ranch Chicken Tacos
In the morning put three chicken breasts in the crock pot.
Add a packet of taco seasoning and a packet of ranch seasoning.
Then pour one cup of salsa over top.
Turn the crock pot on low for 6-8 hours.
When you come home your house will smell amazing, which is always a bonus.
Simply shred the chicken with two forks and your chicken is ready to go.
This next step is optional.
But I like to warm my street taco size tortillas in a skillet over medium high heat.
It just takes a few seconds per side.
Now you’re ready to fill the cute little tortillas with the yummy chicken and toppings.
Add some chicken and drizzle a little ranch dressing over top.
Next top with shredded lettuce and cheese.
Salsa Ranch Chicken Tacos were such a hit in my family!
My eight year old even said “Mom, these tacos are on fleek!”
…I mean I’m assuming that’s a good thing, right?! Haha 😉
