Lasagna Garlic Bread Pizzas
Lasagna Garlic Bread Pizzas were a huge hit at my house and this recipe is already being requested again 🙂
This may be one of the simplest ways to enjoy all the yumminess of lasagna.
But without spending a really long time preparing it.
How to make Lasagna Garlic Bread Pizzas
It starts with frozen garlic toast that I made in the oven according to the package directions.
For these it was in a 425 degree oven for 5-6 minutes, but it actually took more like 8 minutes.
I wanted to make sure they were super crunchy so the pizzas didn’t get soggy.
As the garlic toasts baked in the oven, I browned a half pound of Italian sausage in a skillet over medium heat, breaking up the sausage it it cooks.
I did let the garlic toast cool for a few minutes before spreading with ricotta cheese and topping with the cooked sausage.
Next up was spooning some marinara sauce over the sausage and topping with lots of mozzarella cheese.
Back into the oven, that was already on from baking the garlic toast, for about 6 minutes.
When the cheese is melted perfectly, and a little brown on top if you like, remove from the oven and top with fresh basil.
You can eat these Lasagna Garlic Bread Pizzas literally like a pizza, but if they get too messy there’s no shame in using a fork.
