Hibachi Inspired Chicken Kabobs
Hibachi Inspired Chicken Kabobs has all the components of a Hibachi meal, but served as a kabob recipe and, well, grilled yourself 🙂
When you go to the Japanese Hibachi Steakhouse you get chicken, zucchini, onions, and mushrooms all grilled to perfect right in front of your eyes.
Served with a homemade Yum Yum sauce, which in my opinion is one of the best parts of a Hibachi meal.
It’s just as delicious and not nearly as expensive 🙂
How to Make Hibachi Inspired Chicken Kabobs
I cut the chicken into inch pieces and marinated it overnight.
Just some soy sauce, honey, garlic paste, and ginger paste makes the perfect marinade.

Also soaking the wooden kabob skewers overnight prevents them from catching on fire.
When you’re ready to make the kabobs cut the veggies into similar size pieces as the chicken.
Toss them with soy sauce, more garlic and ginger paste, and some sesame oil.

Hibachi Inspired Chicken Kabobs look just like this and they are ready for the grill!

I grilled these on our Traeger on high for about 10 minutes per side with the Signature Blend wood pellets.
On a regular grill I would recommend over medium heat for about 7-10 minutes.

All you do for the sauce is mix together mayo, ketchup, sugar, garlic powder, and paprika.

Once they are grilled to perfection serve with the homemade Yum Yum sauce.
