Roasted Grape Goat Cheese Crostini
Roasted Grape Goat Cheese Crostini seems like an elegant and somewhat fancy appetizer or party food recipe, but it really isn’t too difficult to make.
It’s served at room temperature and can be made a few hours before serving, so bringing it to a holiday or celebration is SOOO simple.
If you don’t like goat cheese, simply use cream cheese instead 🙂
How to make Roasted Grape Goat Cheese Crostini
We will start by roasting 2 to 3 cups of red grapes.
Put them on a lined baking sheet along with some olive oil, balsamic vinegar, kosher salt, and pepper.
Toss them until evenly coated and that’s really all the prep work needed for the grapes.
I will, however, stress the importance of lining the baking sheet with foil… otherwise you may have quite the messy sheet pan on your hands.
Place them in a 450 degree oven for 25 to 30 minutes.
While the grapes are roasting in the oven, slice a French baguette into about 18 to 22 slices.
Lay them on another lined baking sheet and brush each with olive oil, I only brushed the tops.
Then season with kosher salt and pepper.
Let the grapes cool slightly while the bread bakes in the oven for about 5 minutes.
I lowered the oven temp to 400 degrees for the bread slices.
To assemble, spread some goat cheese on each slice of toasted bread.
Then top each with a few of the roasted grapes, a drizzle of balsamic glaze, and fresh thyme.
You can easily find the balsamic glaze in the vinegar section of the store or on Amazon.
Roasted Grape Goat Cheese Crostini sure has a WOW worthy presentation!
