You may want to pinch yourself with this Steak Potatoes and Goat Cheese sheet pan dinner recipe!

Easy one pan recipes with just a few ingredients are almost like a dream come true.

And a steak dinner around here is always a winner, especially with potatoes and cheese!

How to make Steak Potatoes and Goat Cheese

First cut a pound of petite gold potatoes into fourths.

Or, if your potatoes are bigger or smaller, aim for inch size pieces.

Put them on a baking sheet with some olive oil, kosher salt, and pepper.

Toss until coated and place in a 400 degree oven for 25 to 30 minutes.

This completes phase one of cooking… now we add the steak 🙂

Next add 2 pounds steak of choice that has been cut into cubes, I went with strip steak.

And add some fresh garlic, chopped rosemary or dried Italian seasoning, more olive oil, kosher salt, and pepper.

Carefully toss this until coated, as the sheet pan is hot.

Finally cut a 4 to 6 ounce log of goat cheese into smaller pieces.

And place them over top.

Back into the 400 degree oven this goes for an additional 10 to 15 minutes.

Toss together before serving so the melty goat cheese coats the steak and potatoes!

Ingredients

  • 1 pound petite gold potatoes
  • olive oil, kosher salt, pepper
  • 2 pounds steak of choice (I used stirp steak)
  • 4 to 5 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh chopped rosemary (or 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning)
  • 4 to 6 ounces goat cheese log

Instructions

  1. Cut the petite potatoes into fourths and put them on a sheet pan. Drizzle olive oil over top and season with kosher salt and pepper. Toss until evenly coated and bake in a 400 degree oven for 25 to 30 minutes.

    Note: If any potatoes are very small you may only need to cut them in half, they should be around inch size pieces.

  2. Cut the steak into cubes. Add the steak to the sheet pan with the potatoes along with more olive oil, kosher salt, pepper, garlic, and rosemary or Italian seasoning. Carefully toss until mixed.

  3. Cut the goat cheese into a few smaller pieces and add them to the sheet pan. Place back into the oven for 10 to 15 more minutes. Toss everything together before serving.
