These Chicken Bacon Ranch Walking Tacos made for a super fun and easy dinner recipe at our house last week!
You can imagine my kids being pleasantly surprised when serving them chips with chicken taco meat and fun toppings 🙂
I was a mom rock star for just one evening, but I soaked it allllll in!
This would be a great party snack too, especially if you set it up like a make-your-own walking taco bar.
How to Make Chicken Bacon Ranch Walking Tacos
Chicken, bacon, and ranch are kind of like a classic trio.
Ground chicken is what I am using for the taco meat.
We will get the ranch from both Cool Ranch Doritos and a drizzle of ranch over top when serving.
And fried bacon bits really make these walking tacos over the top amazing!
First set a skillet over medium heat.
Use kitchen scissors to cut 8 slices of bacon right into the skillet.
Cook 8 to 9 minutes, stirring a few times.
Put the bacon on some paper towels and remove most of the bacon grease.
Set the same skillet over medium heat and add a pound of ground chicken.
Cook the chicken 7 to 8 minutes, using a spatula to break apart the chicken.
Then add a packet of taco seasoning according to the package directions.
Mine instructed to add some water and cook for a few more minutes.
Crush the individual bags of Cool Ranch Doritos slightly to break the chips apart.
Then add in some of the chicken taco meat.
Add toppings of choice to Chicken Bacon Ranch Walking Tacos and the cooked bacon 🙂
I set out cheese, lettuce, jalapenos, hot sauce, and ranch dressing and we all made our own.
Dig in with a fork, mix it all up, and enjoy!
