Grilled Honey Chipotle Corn
Corn on the cob is a classic summer side dish, and this Grilled Honey Chipotle Corn recipe brings a little sweet and spicy flavor to regular corn on the cob.
My favorite way to have corn is on the grill.
The bits of charred corn from the grill are the best!
And this one is made extra special thanks to the easy to make honey chipotle butter 🙂
How to Make Grilled Honey Chipotle Corn
I have four ears of corn that have been shucked.
Also four tablespoons butter and some spicy chipotle chili powder.
And some honey to bring the sweet that balances the spicy chili powder.
Simply melt the butter and add two tablespoons honey and a teaspoon or two of the chipotle powder.
Mix together and set aside.
Brush the corn with olive oil and season with kosher salt and pepper.
And preheat the grill to medium for a few minutes before adding the corn.
Grill the corn for 7 to 8 minutes, turning a few times.
Then brush some of the honey chipotle butter a few times and grill a 3 to 5 more minutes.
Brush a few times with the honey chipotle butter, but also save some to brush over top right before serving.

Garnish Grilled Honey Chipotle Corn with cilantro if desired, and serve with the extra spicy honey butter 🙂
This would be the perfect side dish with just about any dinner… hot dogs, burgers, steaks, chicken… whatever it is, this corn makes any dinner complete and puts off amazing summer vibes.

Grilled Honey Chipotle Corn
Grilled Honey Chipotle Corn is cooked on the grilled and brushed with a flavorful honey chipotle butter for the perfect summer side dish
Ingredients
- 4 Tbsps melted butter
- 2 Tbsps honey
- 1 to 2 tsps Chipotle chili powder (add more or less according to spice preference)
- 4 ears corn on the cob shucked
- olive oil, kosher salt, pepper
- Optional: cilantro for garnish
Instructions

Put the melted butter, honey, and chipotle powder in a bowl and stir until combined.

Brush the corn with olive oil and season with kosher salt and pepper.

Preheat the grill to medium and place the corn on the grill grate. Cook 7 to 8 minutes, turning a few times.

Brush some of the chipotle honey butter on all sides of the corn a few times as it cooks 3 to 5 more minutes, turning a few times as well.

Serve with the extra honey chipotle butter and cilantro for garnish if desired.
