Doritos Walking Taco Casserole
We all know and love walking tacos, this easy dinner recipe for Doritos walking Taco casserole turns traditional walking tacos into a weeknight meal.
It takes just a few minutes to throw together, then everyone can make their own plate and personalize with their toppings of choice.
How to make Doritos walking Taco casserole

First set a skillet over medium heat and add a pound of ground beef.
Cook the beef for a few minutes breaking it apart with your spatula and drain any extra grease from the skillet.
Then add a packet of Taco seasoning and some water.
And let that simmer for a few more minutes.

You can make this in a 9 x 13 casserole dish or a large cast iron skillet.
First add a 14.5 oz bag of Nacho cheese Doritos.
Press down and break them into smaller pieces.

Then the Taco meat and queso cheese dip goes over the Doritos.
I did remove the lid to the queso and microwaved it for a few seconds to make it more drizzle-able.

Top the casserole off with two cups of shredded cheese and we are ready for the oven!
This will go in a 400 degree oven for 15 to 20 minutes.

Everything in the casserole is cooked, we really just need enough time in the oven to warm everything together and melt the cheese.

The most fun part of Doritos walking Taco casserole are the toppings!

I set out traditional Taco toppings and everyone in my family made their own plate with their toppings of choice.

And since basically everything was made in one pan clean up was a cinch.
