Air Fryer Nashville Hot Chicken Wings
This is an awesome air fryer recipe! Air Fryer Nashville Hot Chicken Wings have a good amount of heat, but not overwhelming.
They are so good served with a honey butter dipping sauce for that sweet and spicy combo.
This recipe uses the whole, non split chicken wings and a dry Nashville Hot seasoning.
This one I found in the spice aisle of my grocery store.
How to Make Air Fryer Nashville Hot Chicken Wings
Start with two pounds of the whole chicken wings and put them in a large bowl.
There will be about 5 to 6 wings in two pounds.
Add some olive oil, Nashville seasoning, garlic powder, kosher salt, and pepper.
.
Mix the chicken until the seasoning is well coated on all sides. I had the best luck using my hands for this.
The put the chicken wings in the air fryer basket and sprinkle just a small amount of Nashville seasoning and kosher salt over top.
Set the air fryer to 370 degrees for 18 to 22 minutes.
While the chicken is cooking in the air fryer, make the honey butter dipping sauce.
Put butter in a small saucepan over medium heat and once hot, add in the honey.
Option to add more of the Nashville Hot seasoning too.
I added just a bit so it was a hot honey butter…YUM!
Check the wings to make sure the internal temperature is above 165 degrees.
Cook time will depend on the size of the wings.
.
.
Pour the dipping sauce in a small bowl for the wings.
Serve Air Fryer Nashville Chicken Wings with the honey butter 🙂
As you can imagine, this is a messy meal. Just roll up your sleeves, have napkins ready, and go for it!
