Buffalo Garlic Parmesan Chicken Thighs
My husband’s go-to wing sauce whenever we venture out to his favorite wing place is Garlic Parmesan, so that was the inspiration behind this easy dinner recipe for Buffalo Garlic Parmesan Chicken Thighs.
My family is a huge fan of anything with buffalo sauce.
And I’m a fan of simple, budget friendly dinner recipes.
How to Make Buffalo Garlic Parmesan Chicken Thighs
I mixed together some mild buffalo sauce (so it wouldn’t be too spicy for the kids), a packet of dry ranch seasoning, garlic paste, and parmesan cheese.
I used Frank’s Buffalo Sauce, but there are so many great choices for buffalo sauce out there.
And saved some of the sauce and poured the rest over the chicken to marinate for an hour.
My go to for marinating just about anything is putting it in a gallon size plastic bag.
It makes for easy cleanup, and I am a huge fan of anything that makes my life a little easier.
The chicken thighs go into a casserole dish and I sprinkled kosher salt and pepper over top.
You could also put them on a wire baking rack over a lined baking sheet.
The chicken thighs go into a 400 degree oven for about 40 to 45 minutes, and brush with the remaining sauce a few times as they cook.
Use an instant read thermometer to make sure they are around 170 degrees just to be sure.
If you want a crispier skin, turn the broiler on high during the last minute or two of cooking.
Just keep an eye on them so they don’t burn.
Serve Buffalo Garlic Parmesan Chicken Thighs with extra parmesan cheese over top đŸ™‚
Not only does it add some extra parmesan flavor, it looks SO pretty!
Fair warning…these can be rather messy when eating them.
My advice would be to just laugh it off and keep lots of napkins at the table đŸ™‚

- 1 Tbsp garlic paste or fresh minced garlic
- 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 6 chicken thighs (approx. 2 pounds)
- kosher salt, pepper
- Optional: extra parmesan cheese to garnish
Instructions

In a bowl, whisk together the buffalo sauce, dry ranch seasoning packet, garlic, and parmesan cheese.

Set 1/4 cup of the sauce aside. Place the chicken thighs in a gallon size plastic bag, pour the remaining sauce over the chicken. Close the bag and massage until evenly coated. Put the bag in the fridge to marinate at least 1 hour.
-
Place the chicken in a casserole dish. Sprinkle with kosher salt and pepper. Bake at 400 degrees for 40-45 minutes. Brush with the buffalo sauce halfway through cooking and again about 2 minutes before it’s done. During those last 2 minutes turn the broiler on high to make a crispier skin.
