Fireball Whiskey Apple Spice Crumble
Fireball Whiskey Apple Spice Crumble is an easy to make and absolutely unique and delicious dessert recipe!
There’s nothing better than a homemade apple crumble on a crisp, fall day.
Except of course adding some Fireball Whiskey to it 🙂
Let’s get this party started… (true story I actually just found Fireball and my son’s fake money at the top of the spice cabinet 🙂 haha
How to Make Fireball Whiskey Apple Spice Crumble
It starts with Fireball, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and lemon juice in a large pot.
Bring to a boil and add 5 large Honeycrisp apples that have been cut into large chunks.
Once it returns to a boil, reduce the heat to medium low and let them simmer away for 12 minutes.
After 12 minutes I brought it back to a boil and added some cornstarch that I mixed with more Fireball.
And let it boil for 2 more minutes.
I mean, you could mix the cornstarch with water, but why do that when you have the Fireball as a choice, right?!
The crumble part of this dessert could not be more simple.
I mixed a box of spice cake mix and a stick of melted butter and crumbled it over top of the apples in a 9×13 dish.
.
My kitchen smelled like pure heaven as it baked in a 350 degree oven for 30 minutes.
Fireball Whiskey Apple Spice Crumble would be so good served with vanilla ice cream
But my family was so darn excited that we all kinda just grabbed forks and devoured it straight from the pan.
Hey, we never claimed to be classy around here 😉
