Salmon with Fireball Whiskey Glaze
Salmon with Fireball Whiskey Glaze will be a definite do-again recipe in our family 🙂
I made Fireball Whiskey Chicken Wings, and as delicious as they were, I couldn’t help but think that the glaze would be amazing on salmon.
I finally got to try it out tonight and boy, was I right!
This time I didn’t add much heat, and my 7 year old devoured this salmon.
The Fireball Whiskey Glaze is simply brown sugar, Fireball, ketchup, worcestershire sauce, apple cider vinegar, garlic, kosher salt, pepper, and ground red pepper.
You can control the amount of spice with the ground red pepper.
When I made the wings I opted for spicy since just me and the husband were enjoying those.
This time around the kids were eating the salmon.
Bring this mixture to boil and reduce the heat to low and simmer 10 minutes.
It gets thick and glaze-like even more after it’s cooled.

In the oven is my method of choice for salmon.
It’s easy and the salmon comes out perfectly cooked each and every time.
Brush the salmon with some of the glaze and it goes into a 400 degree oven for about 12 minutes.
Turn the broiler on high for an additional 2-3 minutes to caramelize the glaze.
Serve with the remaining glaze on the side.
Salmon with Fireball Whiskey Glaze is an amazing dinner packed full of yumminess 🙂
