When I told my husband we were having this Grilled Buffalo Chicken recipe he was intrigued.
We are buffalo chicken fanatics in our house!
I’m pretty sure my husband couldn’t go even a week without buffalo wings.
And I love him so much that I would never even make him try 😉
This is a healthier version for a simple weeknight dinner, and it only has 5 ingredients!
How to Make Grilled Buffalo Chicken
I started with 2 large chicken breasts that I cut in half lengthwise, creating 4 thinner pieces of chicken.
Then, put them into a gallon size bag with 1/2 cup buffalo sauce, kosher salt, and pepper.
I marinated this for about 4 hours.
But if you could get at least 1 hour to marinate that would be great.
There’s nothing better than grilling on a nice, summer day!
As these did their thing on the grill, I tossed the softball with my son in between flipping them.
Each time I flipped, I brushed with more sauce.
Probably a total of 5 minutes per side, with lots of flipping and brushing in between and they are ready!
The corn was on the grill for the same amount of time, making it a perfect side for this Grilled Buffalo Chicken.
Simply top with sour cream, blue cheese crumbles, and green onions and dinner is served!

Grilled Buffalo Chicken
Marinated buffalo chicken grilled to perfection and served with yummy toppings
- 2 large chicken breasts
- 1 cup buffalo sauce
- kosher salt, pepper
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup blue cheese crumbles
- 1/4 cup green onions sliced
Cut each chicken breast in half lengthwise, creating 4 thinner pieces of chicken. Place chicken in a gallon size bag with 1/2 cup of the buffalo sauce, kosher salt, and pepper. Marinate in the fridge for at least 1 hour.
Grill the chicken over medium high heat 5 minutes per side, brush with remaining 1/2 cup buffalo sauce several times and again right before serving.
Top the chicken with sour cream, blue cheese crumbles, and green onions.
