Tortellini and Ham Alfredo
If you’re looking for an excellent recipe to use leftover ham, or if you’re just looking for a delicious dinner that will please the whole family… Tortellini and Ham Alfredo is super yummy as well as super easy to make 🙂
This homemade alfredo sauce will never have you going back to the jarred stuff again.
Butter, heavy cream, and parmesan cheese is all it takes and you have an outstanding sauce for really any pasta…but here we are using tortellini and adding ham and peas.

How to Make Tortellini and Ham Alfredo
Start with a 12 ounce bag of tortellini.
Boil the pasta according to package directions, then after draining it just rinse with cold water.
This will help stop the cooking and prevent the pasta from getting mushy as you make the sauce.

Set the same pot that you made the pasta in over medium heat.
Add butter and once that is melted add 1 1/2 cups heavy cream.
Let that bubble away for 4 to 5 minutes and will get nice and thick.

Then add a cup of shredded parmesan cheese, a pound of diced ham, the cooked tortellini, and a cup of frozen peas.
Also, season with kosher salt and pepper.

Stir until it’s all evenly mixed and the cheese is melted and the ham and peas are warmed through.
Taste for seasoning and add more kosher salt and pepper if needed.
Just keep in mind that ham is very salty on it’s own, so be careful not to add too much.

Serve Tortellini and Ham Alfredo right away 🙂

Although, if you do have leftovers they were seriously just as good the next day.

YUM!
