One Pot Chicken Caesar Pasta
This easy One Pot Chicken Caesar Pasta recipe is fabulous.
I sure do love a good Caesar salad!
And I saw on Pinterest a recipe that had a Caesar salad with cooked bowtie pasta noodles in it.
I instantly thought YUM…and then dreamed up this recipe.
SO flipping good!
Everyone in my family had seconds and we all raved about addicting it was.
This truly is a one pan meal at it’s finest.
I even cooked the chicken in the pasta pot đŸ™‚
How to make One Pot Chicken Caesar Pasta
The 4 thin cut chicken breasts are seasoned with kosher salt, pepper, crushed red pepper flakes, Italian seasoning, and garlic powder.
Then set a large soup/pasta pot over medium heat.
Once hot add some olive oil and the chicken.
Side note: I did have four pieces of chicken but removed one before I thought about taking the picture.
Cook the chicken 3 to 5 minutes per side, depending on thickness.
Then remove them and set aside on a cutting board.
The sauce is made with Caesar dressing, chicken broth, milk, and Italian seasoning.
Shredded parmesan cheese goes in at the end.
To the same pot that you cooked the chicken in add the Caesar dressing, chicken broth, milk, kosher salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
Bring this to a boil.
Once boiling add a pound of angel hair pasta.
When you first put it in it looks like this.
After a minute it will soften and use a spoon to push it down into the liquid.
Reduce the heat and simmer for 8 minutes.
This is what it will look like after half the cook time.
Still pretty liquidy at this stage.
After 8 minutes the liquid will be absorbed into the pasta.
The final step is adding half cup of shredded parmesan.
Mix it all up and it’s ready to serve!
Place the pasta on plates first.
Then top with the cooked chicken from earlier.
I sliced mine to make it easier for the kiddos to eat.
Garnish One Pot Chicken Caesar Pasta with fresh parsley if you like and enjoy!
