Tacos and Tequila Grilled Chicken
Tacos and Tequila Grilled Chicken…quite possibly one of the greatest recipe combos of all time!
This version combines taco seasoned chicken breasts with a sweet and spicy tequila glaze.
It create a unique and flavorful dinner, and without the hangover.
Tacos and Tequila Grilled Chicken is a new favorite in our family 🙂
You’ll start by making your own taco seasoning.
Simply combine chili powder, paprika, garlic powder, salt, pepper, cumin, cinnamon, and ground red pepper.
In a saucepan, whisk together tequila, honey, the juice of one orange and one lime, plus some lime zest, hot sauce, and a spoonful of the taco seasoning.
Bring this mixture to a boil, reduce to simmer for 10 minutes.

Brush 4 chicken breasts with olive oil and season with the remaining taco seasoning.

Grill for a few minutes per side and then brush both sides with the tequila glaze.
And grill a few more minutes per side.

It was my bright idea to grill at the end of October, it was dark, cold, and rainy but I was a trooper 🙂

Serve Tacos and Tequila Grilled Chicken with the extra tequila glaze on the side for dipping and enjoy!
