Homemade Pepperoni Pizza Rolls

Share Post
Tonight, we had Homemade Pepperoni Pizza Rolls for dinner 🙂
I first made this recipe for my husband a few years ago for a football game snack.
My son remembered them and asked me to make them again for dinner.
Who doesn’t love a good snacky-snack dinner every once in awhile, right?!
The key is getting them sealed so they don’t fall apart in the oil.
How to Make Homemade Pepperoni Pizza Rolls
I lay each egg roll wrapper flat and diagonal, place 5 pieces of pepperoni, a string cheese, and some italian seasoning in the center.

Next, dip your finger in some water and trace it along the edges.

Then, fold in the corners and roll it up.
Pressing the seams together slightly to make sure they are sealed.

Fold the front corner in over the cheese.

And then roll it up!
Kind of like a pizza egg roll, right?!

Pour just enough vegetable oil into a small skillet to fill about 1 inch deep.
I heat it over medium heat for about 5 minutes, or until the oil is 325 to 350 degrees.
Place 3 pizza rolls in the oil at a time, fry about 1 to 2 minutes per side and drain on paper towels.
Repeat with remaining pizza rolls.

Serve with these Homemade Pepperoni Pizza Rolls with pizza sauce on the side for dipping 🙂
