Cuban Flatbreads

After a few minutes of going through what else I had to whip something up, I decided on this easy recipe for Cuban Flatbreads recipe.

My husband and I were having a lazy pool day, and then he got hungry.

I reeeeaaaaallllly did not want to make anything but then remembered I had some leftover pulled pork.

We were both appreciative about this one because they were fantastic!

I really wasn’t even hungry, but I seriously could not stop eating it.

It’s basically everything you would traditionally have on a Cuban sandwich…mayo, mustard, pork, ham, swiss cheese, and pickles…but made on a Naan flatbread.

How to Make Cuban Flatbreads

Start with a package of Stonefire Naan Flatbreads, two come in a pack.

I always keep them in the freezer to use in situations just like this one.

You know, like my husband’s pool day drinking hangry attacks đŸ˜‰

Spread mayo and drizzle mustard over top of each one.

We had some leftover Smoked BBQ Pulled Pork, but you can buy pulled pork in the store or use any leftover pork chops or tenderloin.

Add some pork and ham over the mayo and mustard.

Then a few slices of swiss cheese over top.

I used 4 slices on each flatbread, we like things extra cheesy around here đŸ™‚

Then more pork and ham over the cheese.

And the next part makes it…chopped pickles!

We used this Grillo’s brand that you can find in the refrigerated section of the store.

They are super crunchy and insanely addicting!

You can bake these in a 375 degree oven for 12 to 15 minutes.

Buuuut…if you have a Traeger pellet grill/smoker I highly suggest you cook them on the Traeger set at 375 for the same amount of time.

Cuban Flatbreads have everything yummy about Cuban sandwiches, but made as a flatbread either in the oven or on the Traeger grill/smoker

Ingredients

  • 1 package Stonefire Naan Flatbreads (2 come in a package)
  • 1/4 cup mayo
  • 3 Tbsps mustard
  • 1 cup cooked, pulled pork (either leftovers or from the frozen section of the store)
  • 1/2 cup diced deli ham
  • 8 slices swiss cheese
  • 1/4 cup diced pickles

Instructions

  1. Spread the mayo over the Naan flatbreads and drizzle the mustard over top.

  2. Add half of the pulled pork and ham, then add 4 slices of swiss cheese on each flatbread. Top with remaining pulled pork, ham, and the diced pickles.

  3. Cook either in the oven or Traeger grill/smoker preheated to 375 degrees for 12 to 15 minutes.

  4. Slice and serve right away.
