
Cinnamon Sugar Nutella Twists
The sweet treat I made for my son was this easy dessert recipe for Cinnamon Sugar Nutella Twists.
My poor little guy was home sick today.
There’s nothing like momma snuggles and a sweet treat to make any kid feel better, so we did both.
The ingredients are simple enough, and since it was last minute, it’s pretty cool that I had all of this already in my kitchen.
Crescent roll whole sheet dough, Nutella, and a mixture of brown sugar and cinnamon.

How to make Cinnamon Sugar Nutella Twists
Roll the dough flat on a cutting board and spread lots of Nutella over top.
I had the best luck using the backside of a regular kitchen spoon.

Then, using a pizza cutter, cut into eight strips.

The twisting part was actually easier than I thought.
Just pick them up at the ends, twist about three times in the opposite direction, and set back down again.
As you can see, they get a lot longer after they are twisted.

Sprinkle the twists with the mixture of brown sugar and cinnamon.
It doesn’t all stick, which is why I did this part still on the cutting board.
If I did this on the baking sheet you’d have some burnt sugar on the parchment paper…no good.

Carefully transfer the twists to a lined baking sheet.

Then bake in a 375 degree oven for 12 minutes.

These Cinnamon Sugar Nutella Twists puff up and turn a gorgeous golden brown color as they bake.
They are best served warm, although I’d be lying if I said I didn’t pick at the leftovers all day and evening long.
So even at room temperature they are amazing!
Serve as is or with a bowl of ice cream!

Cinnamon Sugar Nutella Twists
An easy and yummy dessert that everyone will love
Ingredients
- 1 roll crescent rolls whole dough sheet
- 6 Tbsps Nutella
- 2 Tbsps brown sugar
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
Instructions

Lay the crescent roll dough sheet flat on a cutting board. Spread the Nutella evenly on the dough with the back of a spoon.

Use a pizza cutter to cut the dough into 8 strips.

Twist each strip three times and lay back down on the cutting board.

In a small bowl mix together the brown sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle this mixture over top of the twists on the cutting board.

Carefully transfer the twists onto a lined baking sheet.

Bake at 375 degrees for 12 minutes. Serve warm.
