Homemade Pimento Cheese
Homemade Pimento Cheese is a favorite recipe in our family and hopefully you will love it as much as we do!
Pimento cheese is a favorite in the south, it’s super easy to make, and simply delicious!
You could serve this with crackers, on a sandwich with just plain white bread, or get a little creative and turn it into a grilled cheese sandwich (YUM).
How to Make Homemade Pimento Cheese
Shredded cheese, mayo, pimentos, kosher salt, garlic powder, and paprika would be the ingredients for the non spicy kid version.
My husband and I add some ground red pepper and hot sauce to ours for a little kick.
And I like mine on the creamier side, you could always add less mayo if you prefer.
Using light mayo is an option here too.
It cuts a few extra calories and tastes just as good in my opinion.
Just combine and stir until evenly mixed…seriously that’s it!
I store this Homemade Pimento Cheese in a mason jar in the fridge and it’s good for about a week (if it lasts that long đŸ˜‰ ).
