Goat Cheese and Prosciutto Crostini
This recipe for Goat Cheese and Prosciutto Crostini is not only elegant, it’s super simple to make.
It also travels well if you make it at home and bring to a party or gathering.
There’s just something extra special about individual appetizers like crostini.
Like each one was made with love just for you.
How to make Goat Cheese and Prosciutto Crostini
It starts with a loaf of French baguette sliced into 16 pieces.
Lay the slices flat on a baking sheet.
Then brush the tops with olive oil and sprinkle a little kosher salt and pepper.
Pop into a 400 degree oven for 5 minutes and let them cool.
They should be slightly crisp on the outside but soft on the inside.
Once slightly cooled spread each with goat cheese.
Then add some onion jam.
I used a spoon for the jam so it didn’t mix too much with the goat cheese.
Finally some smaller pieces of prosciutto on top.
I like to tear the prosciutto into smaller pieces because it can be tough to bite into if you leave the piece whole.
Garnish Goat Cheese and Prosciutto Crostini with some fresh thyme leaves and serve.
