Maple Breakfast Pizza
Maple Breakfast Pizza was our fun weeknight dinner recipe.
Around here we are not so much breakfast people, but we are VERY much breakfast-for-dinner people!
And not only was it quite popular with the family, it was pretty easy to prepare.
Nothing that starts with a crescent roll crust can be bad, right?!
How to Make Maple Breakfast Pizza
Roll two tubes of crescent rolls on a lined baking sheet, and get creative with placement.
Arrange them in a single layer the best you can and pinch the seams.
Then poke with a fork a few times to prevent it puffing up as it cooks.
Just the crust will bake in a 375 degree oven for about 8 minutes.
Then brush it with some melted butter.
And top the crust with scrambled eggs first.
I scrambled 8 eggs in a skillet over medium heat and spooned them evenly over the crust.
Next up is cooking a pound of maple breakfast sausage and topping the crust with the sausage.
Then more maple syrup to make this extra maple-y 🙂
Sprinkle shredded cheese over top and we are ready for the oven to finish it up.
Another 8 to 10 minutes in the 375 degree oven and you have the perfect breakfast pizza to enjoy!
We were lucky enough to have some of our Maple Breakfast Pizza leftover, and it reheated really well in the air fryer.
It crisped up the crust really nicely.

Maple Breakfast Pizza
Maple Breakfast Pizza starts with a crescent roll crust and is topped with maple sausage, scrambled eggs, and lots of yummy cheese!
Ingredients
- 2 8 oz tubes crescent rolls
- 2 Tbsps butter
- 8 eggs
- kosher salt, pepper
- 1 pound maple breakfast sausage
- 2 oz pure maple syrup
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
-
Lay the crescent rolls flat on a lined baking sheet (either foil or parchment paper). Arrange them so they are in a single layer, pinch the seams together and poke the dough with a fork a few times (this will keep the dough flat as it bakes).
Note: Picture example in post above
-
Bake the crescent roll crust for 7 to 8 minutes in a 375 degree oven.
-
Melt 1 Tbsp of the butter and brush it over the crust.
-
Crack the eggs in a bowl with kosher salt and pepper, beat the eggs with a fork.
-
Set a skillet over medium low heat and add the remaining 1 Tbsp butter and once that melts add the eggs. Cook 3 to 4 minutes, stirring and scrambling the eggs as they cook. Place the scrambled eggs evenly over the crescent roll crust.
-
In the same skillet over medium heat add the maple breakfast sausage, cook 5 to 7 minutes breaking it apart as it cooks. Place on paper towels to drain excess grease and place evenly over the crust.
-
Drizzle the pure maple syrup evenly over top and add the cheese. Put back into the 375 degree oven for 8 to 10 more minutes.
