All Star Sports Themed Party Ideas

My eight year old picked an All Star Sports Theme this year so these are the sports themed party ideas I went with.

I did ask him a few weeks ago if he was too old for his old mama to still name food according to his theme.

His answer was hilarious…”No, I am not one of those kids who’s embarrassed by having a weird mom”!

Well, alrighty then…let the weirdness flow! I will share with you some cute and simple sports party ideas.

I try not to make too much from scratch for parties.

But I mask it by naming the food according to the theme, plus a few cute decorations from Amazon.

Everything looks impressive, but you’re not a stressed out crazy mess by the time the party starts.

We went with a concession stand for the food, and kept it very basic.

Home Run Hotdogs and Half Time Wings were the main course items.

I grilled some hot dogs earlier in the day and put them in concession stand hot dog sleeves.

My husband picked up some wings as well.

I kept these warm in my oven on 170 degrees until ready to serve.

What’s a trip to the ball game without Crackerjacks, peanuts, and popcorn, right?!

I ordered the bags from Amazon as well as the Crackerjacks!

Now for some easy sides like Charged Up Chips with Defense Dip and “Berry” Sanders Fruit Salad.

.

To quench everyone’s thirst we went with Game Time Gatorade, and also some water bottles.

Finally, the cake!

I ordered it and it turned out absolutely perfect, also relieved some stress of having to bake something on my own.
