Buffalo Chicken Tater Tot Casserole
If you’re like me, when you see the word “casserole” you’re kind of like whomp-whomp, booorrrring…unless of course if we are talking about this recipe for Buffalo Chicken Tater Tot Casserole!
My kids like a little spice, so this is a perfect weeknight dinner for us.
If your kids aren’t a fan of spice, simply leave the buffalo sauce out and serve it on the side for yourself.
How to Make Buffalo Chicken Tater Tot Casserole
I had some cooked and shredded chicken already waiting for me when I got home from an extra exhausting day of teaching second grade.
All I had to do was combine the cooked chicken, sour cream, dry ranch packet, buffalo sauce, cheese, and frozen tater tots in a bowl.
Once mixed I transferred to a greased 9 x 13 baking dish.

Into a 400-degree oven this goes, and I set the timer for 40 minutes and go to relax!
Mine was ready to perfection after 40 minutes.
But allow 5 more minutes if it doesn’t look golden and crispy…it’s worth the wait!

I served this yummy chicken tater tot casserole with some green onions on top along with some extra buffalo sauce and ranch 🙂
