Bacon Jalapeno Popper Biscuits and Gravy
My husband LOVES sausage biscuits and gravy, and I like creating new twists on traditional recipes… so I bring to you today Bacon Jalapeno Popper Biscuits and Gravy!
A fun and unique twist on a breakfast classic that you’re gonna want to make very soon.
How to make Bacon Jalapeno Popper Biscuits and Gravy
Start with a large skillet over medium heat.
I used kitchen scissors to cut a pound of bacon and cooked for about 8 minutes.
Remove most of the bacon grease, leaving about 3 to 4 tablespoons and add some diced jalapeno peppers.
I left in some of the seeds for some spice.

Cook the jalapeno peppers and bacon together for a few minutes and add 1/4 cup flour.
Cook and mix together for a few minutes and then pour in 2 1/2 cups milk and 4 ounces of cream cheese.
I also seasoned with kosher salt, pepper, and my favorite breakfast seasoning blend.

Let this cook for a few minutes while stirring a few times, just lower the heat if it starts bubbling too much.

I baked a tube of jumbo biscuits as the bacon jalapeno gravy was being prepared.
To serve, pour the gravy right over top of the cooked biscuits and enjoy!

My husband was thrilled with this new breakfast idea of Bacon Jalapeno Popper Biscuits and Gravy!
I packed the leftovers up with the gravy on the side for an easy breakfast for him to reheat at lunch.
