Ingredients
  • 1 (8-count) tube jumbo biscuits
  • 1 pound bacon
  • 4 jalapeno peppers some seeds removed and diced
  • 1/4 cup all purpose flour
  • 2 1/2 cups milk (I used whole milk)
  • 4 ounces cream cheese
  • kosher salt, pepper, breakfast seasoning blend (optional)
Instructions
  1. Bake this biscuits according to the package directions.

  2. Set a large skillet over medium heat. Use kitchen scissors to cut the bacon right into the skillet. Cook 7 to 9 minutes, mixing a few times. Remove most of the bacon grease, leaving about 3 to 4 tablespoons.

  3. Add diced jalapenos and cook 3 minutes with the bacon. Add the flour and cook, mixing a few times, for 2 to 3 minutes.

  4. Pour in the milk, add cream cheese, kosher salt, pepper, and breakfast seasoning blend if using. Cook about 5 minutes, stirring a few times, and lower heat if it starts bubbling too much.

  5. Serve the bacon jalapeno popper gravy over the cooked biscuits.
