Cheesy Lasagna Sliders
Fun recipe ideas for King’s Hawaiian sliders are endless, and these Cheesy Lasagna Sliders were one of our favorites!
A bit messy, but that just adds to the fun experience, right?!
All the yumminess of lasagna but served on those amazing sweet Hawaiian rolls 🙂
How to make Cheesy Lasagna Sliders
First set a skillet over medium heat and add a pound of ground Italian sausage.
Mine did not come in casings, but if yours does just remove the casings before cooking.
Cook for 5 to 7 minutes, breaking apart the sausage as it cooks.
Then drain the excess grease.
Next, slice your 12 count King’s Hawaiian sweet rolls in half using a sharp serrated bread knife.
And place the bottom half of the buns on a baking sheet.
Then spread a cup of ricotta cheese on the bottom bun, which works best if the ricotta is at room temperature.
And spread the cooked sausage evenly over the ricotta.
Next up is a cup of marinara sauce and season with kosher salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, and garlic powder.
If you like to spice things up a bit, some crushed red pepper flakes would be a great addition.
Sprinkle 1 1/2 cups of shredded mozzarella cheese and add the top bun.
Mix some melted butter together with a little more garlic powder and Italian seasoning and brush it over top.
Next stop is the oven set to 350 degrees for 13 to 15 minutes.
Cheesy Lasagna Sliders are best served right away 🙂
All the delicious, cheesy lasagna goodness served between two buns is incredible!
